Yeah! I’ve completed the angel wing box. This box has a bit of everything: veneer inlay, carving, and epoxy inlay. It is definitely art deco inspired! There are woods from every continent except Anartica.

Good Morning!
I’m continuing with a new project for a fine client. The angel wing box is a smallish lidded box to be veneered with an art deco wing design. The client wished to include woods from each continent, I recommended an ice cube for Antarctica. The photos show the box in process with the insides veneered and the edgings attached. The bottom photo shows the full size pattern for the lid

This is my first blog entry, I wish to share the process and ideals that go into being a self-employed woodworker. I find great fulfillment in my work and hope to convey this through this blog. I’ve met wonderful clients who have inspired my work and are very appreciative of the efforts put into their projects. They allow me to do this work.
